Join us for Sunday Swap — our version of the viral swap trend on social media (search Sunday Spread on TikTok or Instagram), where people creatively exchange items and connect with others. It is a fun and free community gathering.

✨ What to Expect:
• Bring 10 of the same item you’re ready to swap — anything from homemade goodies and handcrafted items — think farmer’s/craft market!
• Set up your swap items in our welcoming greenhouse space.
• Browse, chat, and trade with fellow community members — you don’t pay a thing!
• Meet new friends!

📌 Pre-Registration Required:
Attendance is free, but spots are limited! Everyone planning to attend must pre-register so we can prepare space and refreshments.

Dyeing with Indigo: From Garden to Cloth
Discover the magic of fresh Japanese indigo straight from the garden! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the art of dyeing with freshly harvested indigo leaves from Farmington Greenhouse and cold water to create stunning turquoise hues. Watch as the color transforms before your eyes—from leafy greens to soft sky blues to brilliant turquoise and everything in between.

Each participant will dye both a silk scarf and a bandana, experimenting with different techniques to capture the range of colors. You’ll also see a special demo using salt and fresh leaves as an alternative method, showcasing even more possibilities of this ancient dye plant.

By the end of class, you’ll take home your own hand-dyed silk scarf and bandana, along with the knowledge and inspiration to keep exploring natural color. Sign up here.
